Group operations on orders

This section explains which operations on orders can be applied to several orders, without entering every order, and what are the restrictions on group operations.

Group printing of documents

On the order list page you can generate several printing forms and then just print them. This feature really saves time as the operator doesn`t have to open each order manually for printing documents. It`s enough to mark necessary orders, click the button “Actions”, choose “Print documents” and select desired printed form.

Note 1: By this operation all the forms are generated in a single file, i.e. you should send to printer a single PDF-file.

Note 2: Since printing forms are linked with order type, in list of forms only forms for selected order types will be available.

Note 3: Printed forms referring to specific delivery types can be generated only for orders with such delivery type.

Note 4: For one time system can process for printing 50 orders maximum. If select all orders, the system will print only first 50 orders. This restriction is made for proper work of system.

Group change of status

The ability of group status change is displayed in the same action list by clicking on the button “Actions” if there are more than one status acquired in the system. Statuses, which are prohibited according to the status transition matrix, do not appear in the list.

Note: System can process 100 orders for a single time maximum. If to select all orders, the system will change status only for first 100 orders. This restriction is made for proper work of system.

You can write comment to the new status in group status change same as for the usual status change.

Group email and SMS sending

You can send email and SMS for several customers on selected orders at once. The main thing is that email and SMS templates must have been created.

For sending email and SMS you need to have templates with selected “Order” event configured.

Note: For one time system can process 200 orders maximum. If select all orders, the system will send email or SMS only for first 200 orders. This restriction is made for proper system work.

Change of orders manager

If one of the managers went on vacation and there is a necessity to transfer his orders to another manager, it is sufficient to select initial manager in order filter list, select all orders and choose action “Change manager”.

Note: For one time system can process 100 orders maximum. If select all orders, the system will change manager only for first 100 orders. This restriction is made for proper system work.

Group change of courier

This functionality is useful if you have your own courier service.

Note: For one time system can process 100 orders maximum. If select all orders, the system will change courier only for first 100 orders. This restriction is made for proper work of system.

Group change of payment status

This feature is useful in cases when manager gets payment information on several customers at once. For example, accountant gave information about the arrival of funds by cashless transfer. Then you can select paid orders and choose action “Change payment status”.

Group shipping

You can use group order shipping if you work with warehouse and all warehouse settings are enabled, also providing that product reservation in selected orders and the shipping warehouse is specified.

Partial export of orders

Along with opportunities of group operations and multiple order selection it is possible to export only marked orders.

If nothing is selected, all orders will be exported. If to choose any export template, then orders will be exported by saved filter parameters for this template.

Group removal of orders

If you need to remove several order at once, you should select orders which you need to remove. Then click the button “Actions” and choose “Delete”. Before removal you will see a warning Are you sure you want to delete these orders? This operation is irreversible.

Note:

For one time system can delete 100 orders.

Also for orders removal appropriate rights should be enabled in “User groups” settings .
