Integration with Viber

Before activating the module in the “Integration” section, you should create an API key which will be used to send messages. The key is available in the section Administration > Integration > API Access Keys.

Enable all methods of the “Integration” section for the key.

Please note that messenger is integrated by means of the token of the created bot.

Prior to setting up the integration module, you should log in to the administrative panel of Viber (https://partners.viber.com/login).

Note: the phone number you used to register your Viber account is required for authorization.

In this panel you should create a bot account, fill in all fields and save. A token for connecting the module is generated after saving.

Then, in order to connect Viber integration module, open the connection page and click the “Connect” button.

Enter your domain and the API key created earlier on the connection page and save changes.

A new tab “Bots” will appear after saving, in which you should specify the token of the previously created bot.

Options “en/ru” are for specifying the language of system notifications within this widget in retailCRM Chat.

The integration is set up. Now Viber messages will be uploaded to your system.

In order to find the created bot, it is necessary to provide it with a QR code which is located in the personal account of the created bot. Another variant is to provide it with a direct link for connection: viber://pa?chatURI=democrmbot, where “democrmbot” is a URL of your bot.

The QR code is scanned directly from Viber application.
